Let’s meet the people:
1. The story leads with ROZY, a 68 year old transsexual who has abandoned their love for American muscle cars with the discovery of the Porsche Boxster. Two years and two used Porsches later, Rozy thirsts for more! We follow their flight to Stuttgart in Germany to live a dream: a brand-new Boxster GTS received straight off the factory floor by Rozy dressed in full fetish attire!
2. FRÉDÉRIC, a 42 year old French immigrant, whose treasure hunt yields a prize that others might distain: a carcass, a ruin, the shell of a Porsche 911 air-cooled, abandoned to the elements. Frédéric has a vision! He foresees a new life for this relic that even surpasses its bygone lustre! We accompany him as he spends a year-and-a-half lovingly restoring and modifying that shell!
3. SABRINA who, at 26, is still studying aero-spatial engineering. At the tender age of 10, Sabrina gets her first taste of Porsche on the back-roads of Quebec. She steers the car while her dad shifts the gears. The die is cast: soon enough Sabrina will take her old Porsche 944 to the racetrack to satisfy her driving passion! Her father’s legacy includes not only an enthusiasm for the brand but also a forthcoming Porsche 911 currently being prepared in his shop! We spend a day with Sabrina as she loads her favourite car into its trailer, hauls it to the track for some hot laps!
4. NEWART, a 72 year old artist turned Porsche enthusiast gets his hands dirty and teaches people how to modify their cars through a 50 video YouTube channel! His first Porsche was a Boxster bought in California for the price of a used Toyota Corolla! The idea was to import the car into Canada, sell it at a higher price, and pay for the road-trip. Well, the car got sold, only to be replaced by another, then another faster model! He’d been bitten by the Porsche Passion!
In the epilogue of the film we re-visit Rozy back in Canada with his new Python Green GTS, we will witness Frédéric roll out of his shop with a re-vitalized Porsche air-cooled. We accompany Sabrina during the final preparations to her beloved 911. And Newart will be your guide through this final Passion Porsche experience.
